A broderie anglaise skirt, seems to be the perfect piece to start waving goodbye to summer and the most timeless, delicate & romantic of all embroideries i have worn this season.
Unlike plain eyelets, the bonded edges make this fabric so refined and the feel is always luxurious, no matter the price tag. I mostly prefer broderie in white and i love to mix it with a cherry red mani, or toughen it up with leather boots, since it can be a little too romantic. In these photos, though you can’t see, i’ve worn the skirt with tan flat sandals, which i also love to combine for summer, for a simple daytime look.
open embroidery, typically in floral patterns, on fine white cotton or linen.

Also, you have to excuse the luck of diversity in these photos, i am still trying to master my self-photography skills.
Photography aside, how do you feel about broderie anglaise? How would you style such a romantic piece?
